Full house for Prospect’s Don Valley business park

Prospect GB’s Don Valley business park has been fully let after the completion of two major deals with Skills for Justice and Firth Rixson.

The Centre Court office totalling 11,000 square feet has been let for 10 years to Firth Rixson, the leading supplier of high-integrity engineered products for safety-critical applications.

Meanwhile, the 12,000-square-foot East Wing at Distington House has been leased for three years by Skills for Justice, the government-licensed Sector Skills Council for the justice, community safety and legal services sector.

Both deals follow the recent arrival of public services provider Amey on a 10-year lease agreement.

Neil Waddington of Prospect GB said the firm was delighted to see Distington House and Centre Court fully occupied.

“It means that this year we have now welcomed five major organisations to the business park following long-term leases with Amey, NHS Direct and Gabbro Precision.”

“With the support of our joint agents, Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton, we have been working hard in consultation with prospective tenants to develop flexible letting structures tailored to their medium-to-long-term business plans.

It has certainly proved a successful approach at Distington House and we have been applying this lettings model at other Prospect GB business parks across the north.”

Last year Prospect GB comprehensively refurbished the interior of Distington House, creating a contemporary appearance and introducing energy-efficient features.
