Clothing company makes top 100
A HIGH Peak-based business has been ranked among the 100 best performing companies in the country.
The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
Country Attire, an predominately online retailer, has been ranked 58 in the awards. Sales at the Whaley Bridge-based firm have grown from £1.2 million in 2008 to £5.7 million in 2011, a rise of 68.12 per cent per annum.
The firm, which has a staff of 24, sells heritage clothing and accessories and was founded in 2006 by husband and wife Richard, 39, and Jenny Parker, 36.
