Lark Rise play opens at Sheffield University drama studio

Lark Rise, a play inspired by Flora Thompson’s books, is being performed at Sheffield University drama studio this week.

Like the novels, the play paints a vivid picture about community life in 19th century rural England.

Laugh, cry and sing with the residents of Lark Rise on the important day of Harvest Home.

The play runs from March 4 to 7 at 7.30pm in the drama studio on Glossop Road, Sheffield. Tickets £9 and £7 (concessions). Contact 0114 2553417.
