The duo is still regularly touring and making music - their latest album Speed of Life was released in 2012.

Last year, The Christians appeared twice in Buxton, first at the Opera House along with Hue & Cry and Go West and then at the Arts Centre where they performed a stand-alone gig. For this month’s show the brothers will play a 70-minute set with their full band.

Roachford formed in 1987 and had their first hit Cuddly Toy in 1989.

With the soulful sound of founding member Andrew Roachford’s voice, the full band’s performance will recreate much loved hits such as Only To Be With You, This Generation, Lay Your Love On Me and The Way That I Feel .

The Christians and Roachford’s concert is at Buxton Opera House on Friday, September 25.
