Steven Arnold swaps Coronation Street cobbles for war trenches in The Accrington Pals at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre

Steven Arnold is best known for playing squeaky-voiced Ashley Peacock in Coronation Street but this week theatre fans will see a new side to his acting skills.

He is starring in The Accrington Pals, a poignant drama based on a true story about young men volunteering as soldiers on the eve of the First World War.
