Panto mirrors true romance

As pantomime stories go, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has its fair share of good and evil, oohs, aahs and laughter from the audience, crazy comic characters and a message of love in a happy ending...

But for this production New Mills Art Theatre has a unique and very special happy ever after ending to the story of Snow White.

A couple of years ago Jessica Holman and Andrew Jordan met at the Art Theatre during panto rehearsals for Cinderella.

They fell in love and married last October in Stockport, inviting their fellow cast members to a panto themed reception!

Their life as a couple started with panto and continues to flourish. Playing Snow White, the lovely Jessica gets to say ‘yes’ for the second time and marry her very own Prince played by her handsome husband Andrew.

Is there a better fairy tale ending than this?
