Music hall and classic theatre shows in Buxton

The Magnificent Music Hall reunites Jan Hunt with her former Crackerjack colleague Bernie Clifton and an array of variety entertainers from BBC’s The Good Old Days.

The programme will include songs such My Old Man Says Follow the Van, Daisy, Daisy and Hold Your Hand Out You Naughty Boy. There will be plenty of opportunity for audience participation.

For drama lovers there’s Jane Eyre in the Pavilion Arts Centre on Sunday night, starting at 7.30pm.

Charlotte Bronte’s famous love story has been adapted by Chapterhouse theatre, known for their high-quality productions of period literature.

Present Company bring A Little Night Music to the Opera House for three days, starting on Thursday, September 3. This musical was written by acclaimed Stephen Sondheim who wrote West Side Story and Sweeney Todd.
