Janette and Colin Sykes star in Continental concert at Spring Bank Arts Centre, New Mills

An Evening of Romance featuring the songs of Edith Piaf and other Continental vocalists will be held at Spring Bank Arts Centre, New Mills, on Saturday, February 14.

Janette Sykes, who studied at The Sorbonne for a time and has a wonderful French accent, will sing the songs, accompanied by her husband Colin on piano.

The couple are well known as one half of Four to the Bar but will be striking out as a duo on this occasion.

This will be a special “themed” evening, with small favours for the guys to woo their ladies.

Entertainment begins at 7.30pm with the licensed bar opening at 7pm.
