Gordon Giltrap to perform at Tideswell’s Cathedral of the Peak

Guitar genius Gordon Giltrap is making a return to Tideswell.

He will perform in St John the Baptist Parish Church (Cathedral of the Peak) on Saturday, February 28,.

Gordon last played in the village six years ago when he attracted a full house.

He will be offering an evening of top-class music which combines rock, blues, folk and classical. There will also be the opportunity for the audience to request their favourite pieces. His performance will be accompanied by plenty of anecdotes about life on tour.

Gordon secured his first record deal at the age of 18 and has since recorded more than 30 albums. His songs include the hit single Heartsong (the Holiday programme theme tune).
