Glossop Festival Orchestra to play Bach’s oratorio The St John Passion
A chamber performance of Bach’s oratorio The St John Passion will be hosted at Glossop Parish Church on Easter Monday.
Members of Glossop Festival Orchestra will be led by Matthew Truscott.
Nine of the country’s leading singers including Elin Manahan Thomas, Alex Gibson, Robert Davies, Matthew Brook and William Kendall as the evangelist will take part in the performance which starts at 6.30pm.
Tickets are available on the website, www.glossopmusicfestival.org.uk, and are priced at £20 for reserved seating or £15 restricted view.
