Halloween thrillers for drive-in cinema weekend at Sheffield’s FlyDSA Arena

A fang-tastic weekend of Halloween drive-in movie magic is heading for Sheffield’s FlyDSA Arena.

Cinema-goers will be treated to screenings ranging from children’s daytime faves to teatime cult classic to late-night thrillers for the not so faint-hearted.

Daisy Dukes Drive-In Cinema rocks up to the grounds of Sheffield’s showpiece arena during the weekend of October 30 to November 1, offering a weekend of Covid-free attractions on the big screen and scare actors on the ground to bring the movies to life!

The line-up features: Friday, October 30 – Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Scary Movie, The Exorcist; Saturday, October 31 – Casper, Beetlejuice, Scream, IT; Sunday, November 1 – Nightmare Before Christmas, Shaun Of The Dead, The Blair Witch Project, Joker.

Operations manager Kane Ayton said: “Halloween is our favourite time of the year, and we've definitely pulled out all the stops for the people of Sheffield! We're teaming up with Scream Factory to unleash a terrifying experience on the grounds of the FlyDSA Arena. Children will be greeted by their favourite characters during the day, adults will bump into some of their worst nightmares by evening!"

Cinemagoers can enjoy these fantastic Halloween classics on one of the biggest screens in the country from the safety and warmth of their own car. Audio is transmitted via a specially-assigned FM frequency direct to vehicles radio.
