Matlock Storytelling Cafe brings you two shows for the price of one on Friday, June 5.
With The Returned, Mike Payton tells stories about the lure of coming home - over mountains and rough terrain, through war zones and dangerous ground...and even from beyond the grave.
Helen Appleton is an expert on large and hairy beasts, and she has moulded her research into a meditation on the nature of all things troll. Forget those Billy Goats, for the lore of these creatures is fascinating - sometimes profound and sometimes just unpleasantly stinky.
