Professional acoustic duo Swansong will be the next live act to take to the stage at The Cat & Fiddle Inn.

Back by popular demand at the Buxton Road music venue on Sunday September 7, at 4pm, Swansong Acoustic are a professional duo with an impressive musical history.

Music fans can expect a collaboration of eclectic songs from most genres, including rock, blues, jazz, country and mainstream material delivered creatively and imaginatively. Their originality is impressive, with songs to suit audiences of all ages, and they are guaranteed to entertain and inspire.

There is more live entertainment later in the month courtesy of Paul Buxton and Bob Q, of the band Sideways, who will be hosting a laid-back jam session.

Earlier in the year they rocked the Buxton Festival Fringe, with one reviewer commenting: “Both have a lot of energy and when they really get into their stride they are quite irresistible. Sideways offer a timely reminder of the joys of live music, with a real variety of music from John Mayer to Ezio, the Beatles and even Amy Winehouse.”

Their show on Sunday September 21, kicking off at 3pm, will provide a whole host of artists and performers of various mediums a platform to showcase their talents throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Live music of all types will be punctuated with monologues, poetry and comic sketches, with a chance for the audience to get involved.
