Kaleidoscope Arts Club

BUXTON’s Pavilion Arts Centre is offering adults the chance to experience the arts and learn new skills with exclusive membership of its Kaleidoscope Arts Club.

The arts club, for adults, will be held from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on alternate Tuesdays, starting on September 6.

Joining is easy since anyone who attends a workshop will automatically become a member and will receive regular information such as special offers, additional workshops and other activities.

Workshops set to take place over the next four months include: Being Creative (September 6), Writing for Stage and Screen - Part 1 (September 20), Writing for Stage and Screen - Part 2 (October 4), Acting Shakespeare (October 18), Clowning Skills (November 1), Beginner’s Poetry (November 15), Drumming for Beginners (November 29) Creative Christmas Party (December 13).

Each workshop costs £3.50 and members can go to as many or as few sessions as they wish.

In addition to Tuesday afternoon sessions, there will be regular arts club trips to performances, exhibitions, galleries and other events at theatres throughout the region – available to all arts club members on the mailing list.

For those people able to commit to lots of the workshops in advance, there is an opportunity to join the arts club as a gold member for just £30 – which gives access to all workshops from September 2011 to July 2012 - half the price of the pay-as-you-go membership.
