TV rogue is dame for a laugh

Award-winning soap star Dean Sullivan is all set to tread the boards in panto this festive season.

Dean played lovable rogue Jimmy Corkhill in Channel 4’s flagship series Brookside for 18 years, winning Best Actor awards and a special achievement gold award at the British Soap Awards.

He will generate the laughs as colourful character Nurse Glucose in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Stockport Plaza.

The Wicked Queen will be played by Kim Hartman, best known for her role as Helga in all 96 episodes of the BBC comedy ‘Allo ‘Allo and the ‘Allo ‘Allo Stage Show which toured the UK, Australia and New Zealand and was a sell out at The Prince of Wales Theatre and The London Palladium for two years. Kim has also spent a year performing at the Duchess Theatre in the West End in Don’t Dress for Dinner.

Bradley Thompson plays Muddles the Jester, Becky Bennett is Snow White and Bradley Clarkson is Prince Rupert in the panto.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens on Friday, December 4 and runs until Sunday, January 10.
