STEPHEN K Amos returns with his brand-new stand-up show — The Best Medicine — at Buxton Opera House on Tuesday February 15, at 7.30pm.

Amos’ early recollections form the material for his latest show, which were all bought back to him with the recent retrieval of his teenage diaries. Amos, who was one of seven children born to his Nigerian-born parents in 1967, cites the constant battle for attention during his childhood for honing his stand-up.

With his upbeat clever wit, and biting social commentary, Amos offers audiences a night of feel-good comedy.

Tickets for Stephen K Amos, priced £16.50 and £18.50, are available on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
