CHRISTMAS may be over for another year but it’s never too late for a panto. Oh no, it’s not!

And this year Chapel Players are going traditional with Graham Barraclough’s version of the old favourite Aladdin.

There will be familiar frolics as handsome Aladdin seeks fame and fortune and the hand of the beautiful Princess Pekoe in spite of the malevolent machinations of the malicious magician Abanazar.

You can expect shocks and surprises too with astounding magic, fantastical machinery, gorgeous Genies and magnificent monsters as well as fun and laughter with Widow Twankey, Wishee-Washee and a host of hilarious characters.

Join all the cast and chorus for a wonderful show.

Performances are at Chapel Playhouse, Eccles Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, on Friday January 20 at 7.30pm, Saturday January 21 at 2pm and 7.30pm, Thursday January 27 and Friday January 28 at 7.30pm and Saturday January 29 at 2pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from Hall’s Mica Hardware, Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith, priced at £6 (£4 for concessions).
