SIXTIES pop band Herman’s Hermits will be reviving their hits on the Buxton Opera House stage on Sunday, at 8pm.

Along with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, Herman’s Hermits helped British bands dominate the mid-60s music scene, with hits including Mrs Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter, Silhouettes, Dandy, Can’t You Hear My Heart Beat, There’s A Kind of Hush, No Milk Today, Something is Happening, Sunshine Girl, and Henry VIII. Original member Barry Whitwam leads the group, who remain one of the hardest working bands in the business, averaging more than 200 shows per year.

Tickets, priced £16 and £18, are available on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
