A LOCAL musician is holding a gig in support of a Buxton charity which has supported him.
William (Billy) Hobbs will be holding the event at the Robin Hood public house, on London Road, Buxton, on Saturday November 26, between 8.30pm and midnight, and will be supporting the Grapevine Cafe.
As well as performing music and poetry, Billy will be jamming with other solo artists. Fellow musicians are also invited to go along and take part.
Billy said: “As a person who has Aspergers, I know what it is like to be victimised. The Grapevine Cafe is a wonderful resource for supporting people, but is run entirely by volunteers and receives no Government support.”
There will be a raffle. Admission free.
