A group of professional Peak musicians will present a special concert of music for wind ensemble at Glossop Parish Church on Sunday, January 26.

Well known to many for their work with young musicians in local schools, Jeff and Maria Snowdon, Rachel Whibley and Rosie Crook will be donning their professional musician hats, joined by colleagues from Manchester Camerata and the Northern Chamber Orchestra.

The event forms part of the Glossop Concert Society series, which hosted the launch of the Glossop Music Festival last October.

Society Artistic Director Jeff Snowdon said: “We are really looking forward to playing these fantastic pieces for the Glossop audience.”

Tickets for the performance which starts at 3pm are priced at £10 (£7.50 concessions, £3 for students).
