Have your say

It’s been a busy week in rehearsals for Snow White.

We’ve been all singing, all dancing, all of the time and so far.... it’s all looking very promising! Indeed, the signs are looking good for a fabulous panto this year.

A typical day this week will have us summoned by the director in the early morning to run the scenes for Act One.

It’s fast-paced and a lot of fun. In between scenes it’s off to the musical director to crack through one of the many show songs that pepper the production.

When the clock strikes one it’s time for dinner and as many cups of tea as one can manage before bashing on with Act Two in the afternoon.

Come the evening, it’s off to visit the choreographer and her dance troupe to acquaint ourselves with the dance routines.

After which we fall into bed (or usually the pub) before starting again the next day.

All in a day’s work madam!

Spending the Christmas period in Buxton is a lovely prospect.

l Channel Theatre Company’s presentation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs from Saturday until Saturday January 1, 2012.
