A YOUNG man’s dream of flight comes to Tideswell next week.
On Thursday March 29, at 7.30pm, Thin Air, a new play by Carnegie Award-winning author Berlie Doherty, is brought to the village by Tideswell Theatre. It will be performed at The Old Grammar School by Derbyshire-based Cotton Grass Theatre.
Set in the Dark Peak, this supernatural tale is inspired by the area’s unique landscape, heritage and mythology. The story is about a First World War fighter pilot who returns home from the horrors of the war. He is in possession of a secret that will haunt his community for generations to come.
Tickets, priced £8 and £6 (concessions), are available from Tideswell Post Office and Litton Shop. Bookings can also be made on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01298 871063.
