The band, under their musical director Adam Hutchins, played music by composers such as Elgar, Vaughan Williams and Holst.

Solos were played by Andy Liles on cornet and Jim Owen on euphonium.

The concert concluded with choruses from The Last Night of the Proms in which the choir and audience joined in with the band.
