Year 11 artists from Buxton Community School will be holding an exhibition during the Festival Fringe of their contemporary art created over the last two years.
This magnificent event will be taking place at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery from today (Thursday) until July 31.
This is the first ever showcase of the work produced and organised by the BTEC art students.
The work on display includes ceramics, glass, paper, wood and metal.
Cheryl Raynes, teacher of the BTEC course, said: “The students have worked very hard over the last two years and I am thrilled to put on an exhibition showcasing their work and talent.”
The free exhibition is open to all members of the public and each piece will be available for sale.
A preview evening will be open to all between 7pm and 9pm tonight (Thursday), when visitors will be able to meet the artists alongside their work.
