ROLL up, roll up, and witness a brand-new fiendishly funny adaptation of Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber (one of the most gruesome and grisly Victorian murder tales of all time) which comes to Buxton Opera House next week.

Meet the monstrous murderer, hear his terrible tale, and then watch him hang horribly for his grisly, ghastly and gruesome crimes.

The production (by Finger In The Pie Theatre Company) is a real treat incorporating deliciously depraved black comedy with slapstick, clowning, grotesque characters, physical storytelling, live cabaret music and puppetry.

Directed by Alexander Parsonage, and with shadow puppetry by Mark Mander and Sue Dacres (The Muppets, Labyrinth and Rainbow), Sweeney Todd has received rave reviews including acclaim as a Time Out Critic’s Choice.

Sweeney Todd is at Buxton Opera House on Wednesday May 4, at 7.30pm.

Tickets for Sweeney Todd are priced at £14 and discounts are available.
