A BAKEWELL actor and playwright is bringing her gritty and poignant drama back to the stage to raise money for charity.
‘Dirty Laundry’ features the subject of breast cancer in an endearing and sensitively handled play written by Sharon Holland Taylor and Yorkshire-based TV and screen writer, Alison Pennells.
Sharon, of Baslow Road, is preparing to peg out her ‘Dirty Laundry’ once again for Cancer Research UK, this time at Hassop Station Cafe on Wednesday October 19 and Thursday October 20, at 7.30pm, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Tickets, limited to 100 each night, cost £10 and include a glass of pink fizz and nibbles, along with a unique raffle, where the raffle tickets are attached to knickers.
