COMEDIAN of the moment Jimeoin is heading to Buxton Opera House for one night only (of comedy ingenuity) with his new show Lovely!

Jimeoin’s shows are purely and simply about having a good time and a good old-fashioned laugh. The comedian is loved by audiences throughout the world for his brilliant wit and his razor-sharp take on the absurdities of everyday life such as making a cup of tea or slicing cheese.

Having left his native Northern Ireland and settling in Australia over a decade ago, Jimeoin’s softly-spoken Irish accent and disarmingly relaxed, cheeky and sometimes surreal sense of humour has led to him performing sell-out tours and releasing several top-selling CDs and DVDs.

And the comedian is becoming a well-known face, having appeared at the Royal Variety Show and on Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks, Best of Just for Laughs and Best of Edinburgh Comedy Festival.

Tickets for the Buxton show on Tuesday February 28, at 7.30pm, are priced £14.50 and can be booked on 0845 127 2190 or www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
