Buxton Opera House is offering an evening with the internationally renowned folk king Tom Paxton on Friday November 11.
Paxton’s songs are known and loved around the world: The Last Thing On My Mind, Ramblin’ Boy, and Bottle Of Wine are just a few of his truly timeless works. His generosity to both audiences and fellow musicians is renowned, and his passion for justice and the ties that bind people together is unwavering.
Tom Paxton first came to prominence while performing at the renowned Gaslight Café in Greenwich Village, where he produced his first album. He has gone on to become one of the leading folk musicians of a generation, having released more than 50 albums and winning a multitude of awards including an ASCAP Lifetime Achievement Award in Folk Music.
