ROCK and roll band Paul Lamb & The Detroit Breakdown has been unveiled as the support act for Joanne Shaw Taylor, who comes to Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre on Tuesday November 15.

Celebrated by Classic Rock magazine, Taylor is fast becoming a star of the British blues guitar music scene.

Having won the Best British Female Vocalist at the British Blues Awards 2010, she also received a Best New Artist nomination for her debut album White Sugar.

Paul Lamb and the Detroit Breakdown hail from Detroit, Michigan. Paul Lamb was born in Detroit and raised on the streets of an east side community known as Harper Woods.

He delivers whisky-drenched vocals and six-string prowess.

Paul Lamb and the Detroit Breakdown are touring the UK in November supporting Joanne Shaw Taylor on their new release “Tales from the Gravel”.

Tickets to see Joanne Shaw Taylor at the Pavilion Arts Centre on November 15 are priced £13 and £15.
