Marriage, cricket and the dangerous lure of Bexhill-on-Sea will be explored in the world premiere of The Final Test, a poignant and touching comedy brought to Buxton Opera House by Ian Dickens Productions from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday.

The Final Test stars Colin Baker – principally known as the scheming and universally loathed Paul Merroney in The Brothers and as the sixth incarnation of the universally loved Doctor in Doctor Who. Also performing will be Peter Amory who played Emmerdale’s bad boy Chris Tate, and Grange Hill’s Karen Ford who played art teacher Miss Booth for seven years.
