ONE OF the most daring, breathtaking and stunning family shows to come out of China – ShangHi by Cirque Du Ciel – is stopping off in Buxton as part of its debut UK tour.
The long-awaited, two-hour extravaganza, originally directed by Cirque Du Soleil’s Guy Caron, combines acrobatics, modern dance, original music, martial arts and many other Chinese elements in an amazing adventure.
With dazzling costumes, sets and lighting, this stunning production showcases the skills of not only the performers but the world class team behind the scenes.
In addition to traditional Chinese stunts such as the aerial silks and the famous Monkey Poles, Cirque Du Ciel’s ShangHi also features a captivating storyline which will enthral audiences of all ages.
ShangHi will be performed at Buxton Opera House on Friday May 25 and Saturday May 26 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
