AN EVENING of Bluegrass and Country Music will take place at High Lane Conservative Club on Saturday September 24.
Britannia Bluegrass Band, from Liverpool, will top the bill, with support provided by organiser and host, Tom Travis, along with some of his musician pals.
The event will be in aid of the Cornerstone Drop-In Centre for the Homeless and Isolated.
Tom, who has been a Cornerstone volunteer for several years, said: “The Cornerstone, which is situated in Manchester’s inner city, does a remarkable job providing, as it does around 150 hot meals a day, shower facilities, clothing, access to other statutory and voluntary services, food parcels for families in need, furniture for the homeless which it helps to re-home, and countless other services that help combat poverty, distress and social exclusion.”
Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm, with tickets, priced £5, available from Tom Travis on 01457 861789.
