A LOCAL musician is holding a gig in support of a Buxton charity.
William (Billy) Hobbs will be holding the event at the Robin Hood public house, on London Road, Buxton, on Saturday, between 8.30pm and midnight, to raise awareness and support for The Grapevine Cafe.
As well as performing music and poetry, Billy will be jamming with other solo artists. Fellow musicians are also invited to go along and take part.
Billy said: “As a person who has Aspergers Syndrome, I know what it is like to be victimised and to not receive much support. The Grapevine Cafe is a wonderful resource for supporting people, but is run entirely by volunteers and receives no Government support.”
There will be a raffle. Admission is free.
