A three-part female vocal group of sensational West End stars are bringing their debut nationwide tour to the High Peak for an evening of classical stage and musical numbers.
Singing their own arrangements of popular arias from Puccini to Boublil and Schoenberg, and breaking the boundaries of the classical crossover world with their own unique sound, Access All Arias comes to Buxton Opera House on Sunday September 8, at 7.30pm.
Previously appearing with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra, the group combines the talents of three of London’s most established singers: Helen Hobson (Mamma Mia, Cats, Blood Brothers), Sarah Ryan (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty & The Beast) and Sarah Eyden of the Swingle Singers.
Sarah Ryan, the group’s founder, said: “We are so excited to be performing our first theatre date at Buxton Opera House.
“We feel it’s the perfect venue to debut our show because the theatre has such a loyal audience of discerning music lovers.”
The show comes from the team behind the immensely popular Beyond The Barricade.
Sarah added: “I’ve performed here twice (in Buxton) before; as Josephine in HMS Pinafore for Opera Della Luna and more recently in Beyond The Barricade. I’ve been wanting to come back ever since.”
Tickets for Access All Arias, priced £19 and £21, are available from the Buxton Opera House Box Office on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
