ONE of the world’s leading jazz singers, Curtis Stigers, returns to Buxton Opera House next Wednesday (April 4) to showcase material from his new album and perform his hits.

With one of the most distinctive voices in music, Stigers’ accomplishments as a singer/songwriter and saxophonist push the boundaries of conventional jazz, making him one of the most original interpreters of modern songs.

He shot to international fame in the 1990s with the hit songs I Wonder Why and You’re All That Matters To Me, and his debut, self-titled album was a multi-platinum-selling hit across the world.

Stigers has been celebrated for a wide variety of work; from his early pop chart success to his contribution to The Bodyguard soundtrack – one of the biggest selling albums of all time.

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £20.50 and £22.50, are available on 0845 127 2190 or at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
