The renowned British Philharmonic Orchestra will be ringing in the New Year at Buxton Opera House.
The 44-piece concert orchestra will deliver an evening of vocal and orchestral favourites as part of a gala concert at the Water Street theatre on Tuesday December 31, from 9.30pm.
The evening will be compered by Mark Langley and feature a quartet of top-class British opera singers.
The gala event, which is in aid of future capital and artistic work at the opera house and Pavilion Arts Centre, will be rounded off at midnight with Auld Lang Syne, a touch of Vienna and a singalong.
