A SHOW-STOPPING ‘best of British’ line-up is planned for Chatsworth Country Fair to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year and the London Olympics.

England’s most spectacular annual outdoor event returns from Friday August 31 to Sunday September 2.

The Red Arrows return to entertain the crowds on the Saturday and Sunday, while the Grand Ring will feature magnificent displays by two Gun Teams from the Musical Drive of the King’s Troop as well as freefall parachutists.

Visitors will be able to sample the wonderful food on offer in the Fine Food Village and take inspiration from cookery demonstrations by top chefs, or participate in classic country pursuits.

There’s plenty for animal lovers, from pony rides to sheep dog trials, plus over 300 trade stands, an old-time fairground, Highland dancing; vintage vehicle displays and much more.

Gate prices are £20 (children under-14 free) with discounts for advanced bookings. Visit www.chatsworthcountryfair.co.uk.
