GROUND-BREAKING theatre company Northern Broadsides return to Buxton Opera House later this month with their latest offering – Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Romantic, mischievous and filled with youthful exuberance, Love’s Labour’s Lost tells the story of the King of Navarre who persuades three chums to renounce worldly pleasures and embrace the contemplative life for three years.

Unfortunately for them their solemn vow coincides with arrival of the Princess of France and three ladies-in-waiting. Unfortunate, as all four men fall deeply and madly in love!

Renowned actor and artistic director at Northern Broadsides, Barrie Rutter, directs a charismatic cast of 17 multi-talented Northern actors who will fill the stage in this fast-paced battle of the sexes.

In true Broadsides’ style there’ll be rousing song and dance, scintillating performances, jaw-dropping comic timing and hilarious ‘steal-the-show’ scenes.

Love’s Labour’s Lost will be performed at the Opera House from Thursday March 29 until Saturday March 31, at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced from £12 to £17, are available from the Box Office on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
