Buxton and High Peak Art Society’s annual exhibition has opened at the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery.
On until December 1 the work features has a range of themes and many of the pictures are being offered for sale.
The group, established almost 50 years ago, meets each Monday in Dove Holes, where members can paint in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and enjoy demonstrations by professional artists. Interested visitors are made welcome. The Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, between 9.30am and 5pm, admission is free.
