The Art Theatre, New Mills, plays host to The Johnny Cash Roadshow on Friday March 11.

The band, featuring Clive John as Johnny Cash, Jill Schoonjans as June Carter, Nick Davis (electric guitar & vocals), Alan Parker (double bass & vocals) and Jim ‘E’ Williams (drums & vocals), present their energetic and entertaining celebration of one of America’s greatest music performers - this is the finest tribute to Johnny Cash ‘The Man in Black’.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow performs material from throughout Cash’s career including ‘Walk the Line’ and ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, recorded with Sun Records in the 1950’s to ‘Hurt’. There are many stops in between bringing the audience all the favourites, ‘Man in Black’, ‘Boy Named Sue’, ‘The Ring of Fire’.

The show also brings a focus on the duets Johnny and June sang, including ‘Jackson’, ‘Darling Companion’, Help Me Make It Through The Night’ and the fun the band had on stage.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow is also very proud to be supporting the Acorns Children’s Hospice at each of their concert performances.

For tickets, priced £14, and more information, visit the Box Office or call 01663 742364

The band will be on stage at approximately 7.30pm.
