A visual feast

A GRIPPING and exciting new adaptation of Peak District author Berlie Doherty’s novel Street Child appears at the Pavilion Arts Centre Studio on May 20, at 1.30pm and 7.45pm, and May 21, at 2.45pm and 7.45pm.

It tells the story of a true life Victorian orphan surviving the dangerous and lonely streets of London. It is brought to life in a visual feast of shadow theatre, music and storytelling, with a cast of three actors and life size puppets. Tickets, £6, are available on 0845 127 2190.
