CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH Male Voice Choir and the renowned Fairey Brass Band are to provide a grand evening of musical entertainment at St John’s Church in Buxton later this month.
The concert, featuring music from Les Miserables along with classic choir pieces sung in traditional four-part male harmony, will take place on Saturday September 22, at 7.30pm.
Currently enjoying its 75th anniversary year, Fairey Brass Band will bring its full band to Buxton, fresh from performing at the British Open Championship.
The 16-time British Open Champions and nine-time National Champions will be a superb addition to the concert programme, which will also feature 40 members of Chapel Male Voice Choir, singing under the baton of Musical Director Roger Briscoe.
Tickets, priced £9 for adults and £8 for concessions (under-16s free), will be available on the door.
