Twins group walking two by two
HIGH Peak Twins and Multiples Club will be walking two by two as they take part in a Noah's Ark themed walking float on Saturday.
Following the parade, from 3pm - 5pm at Whaley Bridge Bowling Club (next to the school), the Club is holding a special birthday party, open to all multiple birth families to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Twins and Multiple Births Association.
Annie Diamond from the High Peak group said: "Raising more than one at a time can be hard work, so this party is a great chance for multiple birth families to meet others to share experiences, swap tips on coping with twins or more, and have a great time."
There will be children's entertainers, a bouncy castle, refreshments and party food. It's all free (except for the bar), thanks to a donation from the Living Network Fund.
Their regular meetings are on the first Tuesday in the month at Busy Bees Playcentre in Buxton from 1pm - 3pm, and Monkey Magic Playcentre in New Mills on the third Thursday in the month from 1pm - 3pm.
