PUT ON your jeans and cowboy hat and prepare for a rootin', tootin' good time!
Knox and Devlin Veterinary Practice in Whaley Bridge is organising charity barn dance in aid of Blythe House Hospice.

The "Party in the Barn" will be held at Thornsett Fields Farm, Thornsett, Birch Vale, on Saturday, June 6.

Veterinary nurse Charlotte Turpie explained: "I think we all know a lot of people who have suffered with cancer, and we can all recognise the wonderful work that Blythe House does to support people in this area, so we decided to show our support for the charity."

Live entertainment will be provided by The Sun Band. There will also be a disco and a raffle of prizes donated by local businesses.

Tickets, priced £10 and including a hot pot supper, are available direct from the Bridge Street vets, or by calling 01663 732692.

The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, May 29.
