BUXTON'S newest venue is set to host the newest music penned by aspiring rock stars studying music at the University of Derby in Buxton.
Never Mind the Pickups will be a once-monthly acoustic night held at the Spa Bar, formerly known as Fever, on the market place.

The series kicks off at 9pm sharp on Tuesday, November 6, and will feature live bands starring students on the Music Technology and Practice courses.

Head tutor Martyn Watson will show his support for the entrepreneurial musicians with a special finale performance at the inaugural show.

The entertainment is free and runs until midnight.
