BUXTON Football Club has been given a boost with a £500 donation.
The money was donated by Derbyshire County Councillor Robin Baldry, who represents the Buxton West ward, from his Community Leadership Fund.
Cllr Baldry, who was himself a promising young footballer before turning to politics, said: "I am more than happy to support Buxton Football Club and their chairman Tony Tomlinson with their youth policy, and the training they do with young people in the local community."
