FA Cup fever in Buxton

SATURDAY brings FA Cup action to the Silverlands with the visit of Blue Square North opponents Blyth Spartans – kick off 3pm – and next Tuesday, providing there is a result on Saturday, Hednesford Town will be visitors – kick off 7:45pm.
In the FA Trophy's Preliminary Round last Saturday, Carlton Town accounted for Southern League Atherstone Town 2-1 and will visit the Silverlands in rounnd one on Saturday October 11.

Buxton injury hit ranks have been swelled by the signing of defender Kris Matthews, 22, from Eastwood Town and he made his debut against Leigh.

Jason Bradley has been given permission by Darlington to play against Blyth, though fellow striker Gavin Knight is suspended.
