This Sunday (November 10) sees the penultimate meeting of the season take place at Buxton Raceway and with the Micro Bangers topping the bill there is sure to be plenty of crashing and bashing.
Heading the list of drivers booked in to race is none other than the Raceway promoter, Matthew Watson.
It is likely there will be one or two scores to be settled so the action will come thick and fast.
Also on the bill will be the Super Bangers for one of their major events of the racing season; the George Mycock Memorial Trophy, named after the man who first brought racing to the town back in 1972. Dave Cope (Kidsgrove), the current points champion, will be one of the favourites for the trophy.
The 1300cc Saloon Stock Cars are also in action for their final event of the 2013 season with the all-important points Champion status up for grabs.
Other events on the day include the Junior Rods which pits 10-16 year old racers.
The competitor area is open to the public early so those who arrive can take a look at the cars and chat to the drivers before racing commences at 12pm.
Children aged eight and under gain free entry. Visit www.buxtonraceway.com for more information.
