Ladies defend county title

CAVENDISH Golf Club lady member Kim Bradbury, and Becky Wood of Glossop and District Golf Club, are celebrating after successfully defending their Midland Foursomes Ladies Golf Championship title.

The pair took part in the event at Chesterfield Golf Club, which was played in severe weather conditions.

Despite this, and against strong opposition, the pair defended their title of the previous year, winning the best gross and the best net prizes with a fantastic score of 74+79= 153, resulting in an overall net score of 151.
