First resounding away success for Buxton RUFC juniors
Buxton U9/10s v Tupton U9/10s
THE recently combined U9/10s side from Buxton RUFC enjoyed its first resounding success away against Tupton on Sunday.
Despite many new players and the wide variance of ages and size, the team is beginning to play as a team with the back to basics approach paying off.
Philip Longden, Billy Woodroffe, Cameron Moss and Alex Dawes all scoring in the 7-2 and 6-1 wins, where Jack Critchlow is beginning to show real strength as a forward and James Dowling’s confidence and aggression as Hooker building nicely.
All in all extremely encouraging for the club and a well deserved win for the boys.
James Breddy was the Man of the Match for his outstanding work rate and determination in recovering loose ball; all the more impressive considering he is among the youngest and smallest players.
